By accessing or using SongFor you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. They form a binding agreement between you and SongFor covering song creation, previews, purchases and sharing.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please stop using the service. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Song creation: You tell us who the song is for, the occasion, and the stories that matter. We generate editable lyrics, then produce a full song with vocals and instrumentation in your chosen style and language.

Free preview: Every song comes with a free 60-second preview. You only pay if you decide to unlock the full song.

Sharing pages: Each song gets a personalised page with cover art, an optional note, and a player — made to be sent to the person it was written for.

SongFor is a gift-making tool. It does not replace professional songwriting, recording or licensing services.

Guest use: You can create songs without an account; they are linked to your browser. Creating an account keeps your songs across devices.

Accurate information: When you register (by email or Google), you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Age: You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's consent to make purchases.

You may:

• Create songs from stories and details you have the right to share
• Play, download (after purchase) and gift your songs for personal, non-commercial enjoyment
• Share song pages with the people they were made for

You may not:

• Submit stories or names intended to harass, defame, impersonate or harm another person
• Request content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes third-party rights
• Attempt to imitate a specific real artist's voice or pass generated songs off as the work of a real artist
• Resell, sublicense or commercially exploit generated songs without our written permission
• Reverse-engineer the service, scrape it, or probe its systems and APIs beyond their intended use
• Abuse free previews or promotional mechanics through automation or bulk account creation

We may refuse to generate content and may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

How songs are made: Lyrics and music are produced with AI models guided by your input. The same input can produce different results, and quality can vary with the detail of the story you provide.

Review before gifting: You can edit lyrics before production and regenerate results you are not happy with. Please review names, dates and personal details — you are responsible for the content of the songs you create and share.

No guarantees: We do not guarantee that any output will be error-free or fit for a particular purpose, though our remake policy (below) has you covered if something misses.

Free preview: Previews are free and require no payment details.

Single song unlock: A one-time payment unlocks the full-length song: unlimited streaming from its page and MP3 download. Prices are shown at checkout and processed securely by Stripe; we never see your card details.

Subscriptions: If you purchase a plan, it renews automatically until cancelled in your account. Plan features and pricing are described on the pricing page at the time of purchase.

Remakes and refunds: If a song misses the mark, we will remake it free. Because each song is custom-produced on demand, completed purchases are otherwise non-refundable except where required by law.

Your stories stay yours: You retain all rights to the stories, names and text you submit. You grant us a licence to process them solely to create and deliver your songs.

Your song licence: After purchase, you receive a worldwide, perpetual licence to use the song for personal, non-commercial purposes — playing, sharing with friends and family, and posting on personal social accounts with credit to SongFor.

What we keep: SongFor retains ownership of the underlying technology, templates, models and production pipeline. We do not resell your personalised song to anyone else.

We are continuously improving SongFor and may change, suspend or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical. Song generation depends on third-party AI providers; occasional delays or outages may occur, and generation times are estimates rather than guarantees.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, SongFor disclaims all implied warranties and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You may stop using SongFor at any time and may delete your account in settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. Purchased songs remain downloadable for a reasonable period after termination unless the termination is for abuse.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be announced on this page with an updated effective date.
